 My question regards personalized invitations. Should I write „Mrs. X and husband” or rather “Mrs. and Mr. Helena and Robert X”? What should I do in case of a divorced person, should I write „Mrs. Y with a companion”? |
When inviting a married couple we write full first and last names of both, so the correct form will be “Mrs. and Mr. Helena and Robert X”.
When inviting unmarried or divorced persons I would propose to make a tactful interview if they are single or have a partner they would like to come to the celebrations with. If gaining this information is impossible you should use the form “with a companion”. |
