Can I wear a veil for my wedding if I have a 10-month-old daughter? Is it proper? Can I wear something else instead?
According to Old-Polish traditions a veil was a symbol of purity and innocence of the Bride. Nowadays no one really cares about traditional symbolism. Therefore if you look good in a veil and if it fits the rest of the clothing, I do not see any reason why you should not wear it for the wedding.

Although, if you wanted to wear something else instead, there are many options, among others:
- hats – starting from traditional fashions, throughout toques with a veil, up to extravagant toppers,
- flowers in your hair,
- diadems/tiaras,
- floral garlands,
- a bun braided with decorative ribbons,
- crystal/pearl hairpins.
